About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting Air Quality Consultant for work across Dartford and the wider Kent area. Our clients are planning, engineering and environmental consultancies, developers and housebuilders who need assessments delivered for planning applications, so demand for air quality consultant runs year-round.
What you will be doing
- Carry out noise surveys and Noise Impact Assessments
- Assess plant, commercial and transport noise against BS 4142, BS 8233 and ProPG
- Model noise using CadnaA or SoundPLAN
- Design mitigation and advise on building acoustics
- Respond to environmental health officer comments
- Prepare clear technical reports for planning
What you need
- Relevant degree in acoustics, environmental science or engineering
- Air Quality Assessments to IAQM guidance, ADMS or AERMOD dispersion modelling, Construction dust and odour assessments
- Experience with monitoring equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
