Who we are

Focus Recruitment is an employment agency and employment business placing candidates in Law, Construction and Office roles across the United Kingdom. Our registered details appear in the footer of every page.

What we collect

When you apply for a role we collect the information you send us: your name, contact details, CV, work history, qualifications and certifications, and the location you can work in. If you contact us by WhatsApp we also hold that conversation.

Why we hold it

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests, so that we can match you to vacancies our clients have instructed us on, and contact you about suitable work. Where a role requires it we also process qualification and right-to-work information to meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share your details with a prospective employer only after we have discussed that specific role with you. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate records for 12 months from our last contact with you, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our processing. Email info@focusrecruitment.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.
