About this role
We are looking for Biodiversity Net Gain Assessor to join our clients in Walsall. From graduate and consultant level up to principal and associate, Focus Recruitment works with consultancies across West Midlands that are growing their assessment teams.
What you will be doing
- Survey trees to BS 5837 and prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments
- Produce tree protection plans and method statements
- Assess landscape and visual effects of proposed development
- Prepare reports, figures and visualisations for planning
- Attend site meetings and supervise mitigation works
- Manage your own caseload of projects across the region
What you need
- Relevant degree in ecology, environmental science or similar
- Statutory Biodiversity Metric calculations, UKHab habitat survey and condition assessment, BNG plans and HMMPs
- Fieldwork experience in all weathers
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
