About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Commercial Litigation Solicitor for firms in Fareham and across Hampshire. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place commercial litigation solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of civil and commercial disputes
- Draft pleadings, applications and witness statements
- Advise clients on merits, risk and costs
- Attend hearings and instruct counsel
- Comply with CPR and court deadlines throughout
- Meet chargeable hours and billing targets
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- SRA admitted
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
