About this role
We are recruiting an experienced Costs Draftsman for clients in Bolton. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across North West for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.
What you will be doing
- Manage your own caseload of matters from instruction to conclusion
- Advise clients clearly on options, risk and costs
- Draft correspondence, documentation and applications
- Liaise with other side, counsel and third parties
- Maintain files to SRA and firm compliance standards
- Meet agreed billing and chargeable hours targets
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- Costs drafting experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
