About this role
We are recruiting an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor for clients in Weymouth. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across Dorset for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of civil and commercial disputes
- Draft pleadings, applications and witness statements
- Advise clients on merits, risk and costs
- Attend hearings and instruct counsel
- Comply with CPR and court deadlines throughout
- Meet chargeable hours and billing targets
What you need
- Background in a comparable legal role
- SRA admitted
- Comfortable using case management systems
- Discreet and professional with confidential matters
- Right to work in the UK
