About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting Domestic Gas Engineer for work across Dorchester and the surrounding Dorset area. We work with contractors, facilities providers and housing groups who hire continuously in this region, so we place domestic gas engineer year-round rather than on one-off adverts.
What you will be doing
- Service, repair and replace domestic boilers and heating systems
- Carry out gas safety checks and issue certification
- Diagnose faults on a range of appliance types
- Advise customers clearly on works required
- Maintain full and accurate job records
- Keep van stock and calibration up to date
What you need
- Proven experience working as a domestic gas engineer
- Gas Safe, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
- Right to work in the UK
