About this role
Our City of Edinburgh clients have a standing need for a Legal Assistant, and we are registering candidates who can work in or near Edinburgh. Hybrid arrangements are available with a number of firms.
What you will be doing
- Handle a varied caseload with appropriate supervision
- Take detailed client instructions and attendance notes
- Prepare documentation accurately and on time
- Keep the case management system fully up to date
- Communicate progress clearly to clients
- Support the wider department as required
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- Legal admin experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
