About this role

We are looking for Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant to join our clients in Harlow. From graduate and consultant level up to principal and associate, Focus Recruitment works with consultancies across Essex that are growing their assessment teams.

What you will be doing

• Manage EIA screening, scoping and Environmental Statement production
• Coordinate technical chapter authors to programme
• Review assessments for consistency and robustness
• Carry out daylight, sunlight and overshadowing assessments
• Advise clients on planning risk and strategy
• Build long-term client relationships

What you need

• Relevant degree in planning or environmental management
• EIA screening, scoping and Environmental Statements, Coordinating technical specialists, IEMA membership
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience of planning applications and appeals
• Right to work in the UK
