About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Family Law Legal Secretary for firms in Llanelli and across Sir Gaerfyrddin – Carmarthenshire. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place family law legal secretarys throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Handle private family work including financial remedy
- Conduct client meetings and take detailed instructions
- Prepare and manage court bundles
- Liaise with counsel, experts and other side
- Maintain accurate attendance notes and file records
- Support the firm’s family department targets
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- Audio typing, Family law experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
