About this role
We are recruiting an experienced Family Law Paralegal for clients in Leeds. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across Yorkshire and the Humber for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of family matters including divorce and finance
- Advise clients sensitively and clearly on their options
- Prepare court documentation and attend hearings where required
- Draft applications, statements and correspondence
- Work within Legal Aid requirements where applicable
- Meet billing and file management standards
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- Law degree
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
