About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Probate Assistant for firms in Folkestone and across Kent. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place probate assistants throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of wills, trusts and probate matters
- Draft wills, LPAs and trust documentation
- Administer estates from application to distribution
- Advise clients on inheritance tax and succession planning
- Attend client meetings including home visits where needed
- Maintain files to firm and regulatory standards
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- Probate admin experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
