About this role
We have ongoing requirements for Geo-environmental Consultant covering Coventry. Development pipelines in West Midlands need technical assessments at every stage, from pre-application through to discharge of conditions, and our clients hire geo-environmental consultant on permanent, contract and freelance terms.
What you will be doing
- Write Phase 1 Desk Studies and preliminary risk assessments
- Design and supervise Phase 2 ground investigations
- Interpret soil, gas and groundwater results
- Produce remediation strategies and verification reports
- Liaise with regulators to discharge planning conditions
- Log trial pits and boreholes on site
What you need
- Relevant degree in geology, civil engineering or environmental science
- Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 site investigations, Contaminated land risk assessment (CLR11 / LCRM), Degree in geology or environmental science
- Site experience and a CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
