About this role

If you are a Geotechnical Engineer based in or near Aylesbury, we would like to hear from you. Our Buckinghamshire clients have a steady flow of planning-led projects and need specialists who can deliver robust, defensible assessments to deadline.

What you will be doing

• Write Phase 1 Desk Studies and preliminary risk assessments
• Design and supervise Phase 2 ground investigations
• Interpret soil, gas and groundwater results
• Produce remediation strategies and verification reports
• Liaise with regulators to discharge planning conditions
• Log trial pits and boreholes on site

What you need

• Ground engineering consultancy experience
• Ground investigation design and interpretation, Eurocode 7 foundation and slope design, Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering
• Good technical writing
• Working towards chartership (CGeol, CEng or CEnv)
• Right to work in the UK
