About this role

We are looking for Heritage Consultant to join our clients in Stockton-on-Tees. From graduate and consultant level up to principal and associate, Focus Recruitment works with consultancies across Stockton-on-Tees that are growing their assessment teams.

What you will be doing

• Produce archaeological Desk-Based Assessments and Written Schemes of Investigation
• Advise clients on archaeological risk and planning conditions
• Monitor fieldwork contractors and review their reporting
• Use HER data, historic mapping and GIS
• Write clear reports to programme
• Build relationships with county archaeologists

What you need

• Heritage or archaeological consultancy experience
• Heritage Statements and Heritage Impact Assessments, Listed building and conservation area consent, IHBC membership or working towards
• Confident liaising with conservation officers
• GIS and historic mapping skills
• Right to work in the UK
