About this role
If you are a Highways Engineer based in or near Dudley, we would like to hear from you. Our West Midlands clients have a steady flow of planning-led projects and need specialists who can deliver robust, defensible assessments to deadline.
What you will be doing
- Design highway layouts, junction improvements and site accesses
- Assess the traffic impact of new development on the local network
- Produce reports and drawings to programme and budget
- Work with planners, drainage engineers and architects on the design team
- Check designs against DMRB, Manual for Streets and local standards
- Mentor junior staff and review their technical work
What you need
- Transport or highways consultancy experience
- Degree or HNC in civil engineering, Section 278 / Section 38 design, DMRB and Manual for Streets, AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Confident working with local highway authorities
- Ability to manage your own workload
- Right to work in the UK
