About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting Acoustic Consultant for work across Sutton Coldfield and the wider West Midlands area. Our clients are planning, engineering and environmental consultancies, developers and housebuilders who need assessments delivered for planning applications, so demand for acoustic consultant runs year-round.
What you will be doing
- Prepare Air Quality Assessments for planning applications
- Run dispersion modelling for road traffic and energy plant
- Assess construction dust and odour risk
- Install and manage monitoring equipment
- Liaise with local authority air quality officers
- Contribute to Environmental Statement chapters
What you need
- Relevant degree in acoustics, environmental science or engineering
- Noise Impact Assessments (BS 4142, BS 8233, ProPG), IOA Diploma or acoustics degree, CadnaA or SoundPLAN modelling
- Experience with monitoring equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
