About this role
We have ongoing requirements for Planning Consultant covering Kingston upon Thames. Development pipelines in Greater London need technical assessments at every stage, from pre-application through to discharge of conditions, and our clients hire planning consultant on permanent, contract and freelance terms.
What you will be doing
- Manage EIA screening, scoping and Environmental Statement production
- Coordinate technical chapter authors to programme
- Review assessments for consistency and robustness
- Carry out daylight, sunlight and overshadowing assessments
- Advise clients on planning risk and strategy
- Build long-term client relationships
What you need
- Relevant degree in planning or environmental management
- Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements, Chartered or working towards MRTPI, Local plan and NPPF knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience of planning applications and appeals
- Right to work in the UK
