About this role
We are looking for Road Safety Auditor to join our clients in Hatfield. From graduate and consultant level up to principal and associate, Focus Recruitment works with consultancies across Hertfordshire that are growing their assessment teams.
What you will be doing
- Design highway layouts, junction improvements and site accesses
- Assess the traffic impact of new development on the local network
- Produce reports and drawings to programme and budget
- Work with planners, drainage engineers and architects on the design team
- Check designs against DMRB, Manual for Streets and local standards
- Mentor junior staff and review their technical work
What you need
- Transport or highways consultancy experience
- Certificate of Competency in Road Safety Audit (GG 119), Collision analysis, Highways design background
- Confident working with local highway authorities
- Ability to manage your own workload
- Right to work in the UK
