About this role

Focus Recruitment is recruiting Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment Consultant for work across Dundee and the wider Dundee City area. Our clients are planning, engineering and environmental consultancies, developers and housebuilders who need assessments delivered for planning applications, so demand for landscape and visual impact assessment consultant runs year-round.

What you will be doing

• Survey trees to BS 5837 and prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments
• Produce tree protection plans and method statements
• Assess landscape and visual effects of proposed development
• Prepare reports, figures and visualisations for planning
• Attend site meetings and supervise mitigation works
• Manage your own caseload of projects across the region

What you need

• Consultancy or local authority experience
• LVIA to GLVIA3, Chartered or working towards CMLI, ZTV and visualisation production
• Good written English and report writing
• GIS skills (QGIS or ArcGIS) an advantage
• Right to work in the UK
