About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Debt Recovery Paralegal for firms in Leeds and across Yorkshire and the Humber. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place debt recovery paralegals throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage debt recovery and enforcement matters at volume
- Issue proceedings and obtain judgment
- Deal with enforcement options and applications
- Report to commercial clients on recovery rates
- Maintain accurate ledgers and file records
- Meet agreed recovery targets
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- Law degree
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
