About this role

Focus Recruitment places Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with established contractors operating in Basildon and across Essex. Work is available on a regular basis, and our consultants know the sites, the rates and the site managers in this area.

What you will be doing

• Carry out bathroom and kitchen installations to a high finish
• Complete first fix and second fix pipework
• Install sanitaryware, showers and associated fittings
• Test, commission and make good
• Work cleanly and respectfully in occupied properties
• Report variations and defects promptly

What you need

• Recent domestic or commercial experience in a similar role
• NVQ Level 3
• Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Professional manner with customers and site teams
• Right to work in the UK
