About this role
We have ongoing requirements for a Residential Conveyancing Assistant in Newcastle upon Tyne. Our North East clients range from long-established high street practices to growing regional firms, and several recruit continuously into this role.
What you will be doing
- Support fee earners across a busy conveyancing team
- Open files, order searches and chase enquiries
- Prepare completion statements and post-completion tasks
- Submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
- Keep clients and agents updated on progress
- Maintain accurate file records
What you need
- Background in a comparable legal role
- Conveyancing admin experience
- Comfortable using case management systems
- Discreet and professional with confidential matters
- Right to work in the UK
