About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Accountant for a fully remote role with UK-based employers. Lead financial operations and ensure compliance for UK-based clients. Must be available during UK business hours.
You will need to be available during UK business hours.
What you will be doing
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes for multiple clients
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Handle tax planning and compliance
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff
- Implement financial controls and procedures
- Coordinate with external auditors
What you need
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards
- Experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Right to work in the UK
