About this role
We are looking for experienced Service and Breakdown Engineer to work with our clients in Merthyr Tydfil. Focus Recruitment has supplied trades across Merthyr Tudful – Merthyr Tydfil for years, and our clients come back to us repeatedly for the same roles.
What you will be doing
- Maintain mechanical plant and building services systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
- Respond to reactive breakdowns within SLA
- Complete job sheets and asset records
- Support statutory inspection schedules
- Escalate significant defects appropriately
What you need
- Time served or formally qualified in plumbing and heating
- Gas Safe, ACS
- Comfortable completing certification and job records
- Full UK driving licence preferred for mobile roles
- Right to work in the UK
