About this role
Focus Recruitment has live vacancies for Transport Assessment Consultant serving Chatham and nearby towns in Medway. Hybrid and site-based options are available, with roles at consultancies, local authorities and developers.
What you will be doing
- Lead the transport and highways input on residential and commercial schemes
- Produce access strategies, swept path analysis and parking assessments
- Review collision data and propose highway safety improvements
- Coordinate traffic surveys and interpret the results
- Prepare Section 278 and Section 38 agreement information
- Support planning appeals and committee presentations
What you need
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Transport Assessments and Transport Statements for planning, TRICS trip generation, Junctions 10 / LinSig modelling
- Good report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Right to work in the UK
