About this role
Focus Recruitment places Transport Planner with consultancies and developers working in Stoke-on-Trent and across City of Stoke-on-Trent. Whether you produce reports in-house or lead projects for a client team, we can match you to work that fits your experience and specialism.
What you will be doing
- Lead the transport and highways input on residential and commercial schemes
- Produce access strategies, swept path analysis and parking assessments
- Review collision data and propose highway safety improvements
- Coordinate traffic surveys and interpret the results
- Prepare Section 278 and Section 38 agreement information
- Support planning appeals and committee presentations
What you need
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Degree in transport planning, civil engineering or geography, Transport Assessment and Travel Plan experience, TRICS and junction modelling (ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig)
- Good report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Right to work in the UK
