Focus Recruitment places Arboricultural Consultant with consultancies and developers working in Caerphilly and across Caerffili – Caerphilly. Whether you produce reports in-house or lead projects for a client team, we can match you to work that fits your experience and specialism.

What you will be doing

• Carry out Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and habitat surveys
• Write Ecological Impact Assessments and mitigation strategies
• Complete Biodiversity Net Gain metric calculations and BNG plans
• Undertake protected species surveys during the survey season
• Advise developers on ecological constraints at an early stage
• Liaise with local authority ecologists and Natural England

What you need

• Relevant degree in ecology, environmental science or similar
• BS 5837 tree surveys and Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Level 4 or above in arboriculture, Tree Preservation Order and conservation area applications
• Fieldwork experience in all weathers
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
