About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting Arboricultural Consultant for work across High Wycombe and the wider Buckinghamshire area. Our clients are planning, engineering and environmental consultancies, developers and housebuilders who need assessments delivered for planning applications, so demand for arboricultural consultant runs year-round.
What you will be doing
- Survey trees to BS 5837 and prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments
- Produce tree protection plans and method statements
- Assess landscape and visual effects of proposed development
- Prepare reports, figures and visualisations for planning
- Attend site meetings and supervise mitigation works
- Manage your own caseload of projects across the region
What you need
- Relevant degree in ecology, environmental science or similar
- BS 5837 tree surveys and Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Level 4 or above in arboriculture, Tree Preservation Order and conservation area applications
- Fieldwork experience in all weathers
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
