About this role
If you are a Arboricultural Consultant based in or near Cambridge, we would like to hear from you. Our Cambridgeshire clients have a steady flow of planning-led projects and need specialists who can deliver robust, defensible assessments to deadline.
What you will be doing
- Survey trees to BS 5837 and prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments
- Produce tree protection plans and method statements
- Assess landscape and visual effects of proposed development
- Prepare reports, figures and visualisations for planning
- Attend site meetings and supervise mitigation works
- Manage your own caseload of projects across the region
What you need
- Relevant degree in ecology, environmental science or similar
- BS 5837 tree surveys and Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Level 4 or above in arboriculture, Tree Preservation Order and conservation area applications
- Fieldwork experience in all weathers
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
