If you are a Archaeological Consultant based in or near Dover, we would like to hear from you. Our Kent clients have a steady flow of planning-led projects and need specialists who can deliver robust, defensible assessments to deadline.

What you will be doing

• Prepare Heritage Statements and Heritage Impact Assessments
• Assess the significance of listed buildings and conservation areas
• Advise on listed building consent and design changes
• Carry out historic research and archive work
• Liaise with conservation officers and Historic England
• Support planning applications and appeals with expert evidence

What you need

• Heritage or archaeological consultancy experience
• Archaeological Desk-Based Assessments, Written Schemes of Investigation, CIfA membership
• Confident liaising with conservation officers
• GIS and historic mapping skills
• Right to work in the UK
