About this role
Our Hampshire clients have a standing need for a Duty Solicitor, and we are registering candidates who can work in or near Basingstoke. Hybrid arrangements are available with a number of firms.
What you will be doing
- Support the criminal department with case preparation
- Prepare bundles, chronologies and evidence schedules
- Take witness statements and client instructions
- Manage court diary and deadlines
- Maintain Legal Aid documentation
- Assist with billing and file closure
What you need
- Proven experience as a duty solicitor
- Police station accreditation, Duty scheme
- Confident managing your own caseload
- Client-focused and professional approach
- Right to work in the UK
