About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Care Proceedings Solicitor for firms in Southampton and across City of Southampton. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place care proceedings solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of family matters including divorce and finance
- Advise clients sensitively and clearly on their options
- Prepare court documentation and attend hearings where required
- Draft applications, statements and correspondence
- Work within Legal Aid requirements where applicable
- Meet billing and file management standards
What you need
- Proven experience as a care proceedings solicitor
- SRA admitted, Children Panel
- Confident managing your own caseload
- Client-focused and professional approach
- Right to work in the UK
