About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Clinical Negligence Solicitor for firms in Carlisle and across Cumberland. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place clinical negligence solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Handle RTA, EL and PL claims from instruction to conclusion
- Draft letters of claim, schedules and witness statements
- Instruct experts and counsel as required
- Advise clients clearly on progress and prospects
- Maintain accurate case management records
- Achieve agreed settlement and billing targets
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- SRA admitted, AvMA desirable
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
