About this role

Focus Recruitment is recruiting Commercial Gas Engineer for work across Bexhill-on-Sea and the surrounding East Sussex area. We work with contractors, facilities providers and housing groups who hire continuously in this region, so we place commercial gas engineer year-round rather than on one-off adverts.

What you will be doing

• Maintain mechanical plant and building services systems
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
• Respond to reactive breakdowns within SLA
• Complete job sheets and asset records
• Support statutory inspection schedules
• Escalate significant defects appropriately

What you need

• Proven experience working as a commercial gas engineer
• Gas Safe commercial, COCN1, CIGA1, ICPN1
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
• Right to work in the UK
