About this role
We are recruiting an experienced Costs Draftsman for clients in Southend-on-Sea. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across Southend-on-Sea for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.
What you will be doing
- Manage your own caseload of matters from instruction to conclusion
- Advise clients clearly on options, risk and costs
- Draft correspondence, documentation and applications
- Liaise with other side, counsel and third parties
- Maintain files to SRA and firm compliance standards
- Meet agreed billing and chargeable hours targets
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- Costs drafting experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
