About this role
Focus Recruitment has live vacancies for Transport Assessment Consultant serving Cwmbran and nearby towns in Torfaen – Torfaen. Hybrid and site-based options are available, with roles at consultancies, local authorities and developers.
What you will be doing
- Design highway layouts, junction improvements and site accesses
- Assess the traffic impact of new development on the local network
- Produce reports and drawings to programme and budget
- Work with planners, drainage engineers and architects on the design team
- Check designs against DMRB, Manual for Streets and local standards
- Mentor junior staff and review their technical work
What you need
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Transport Assessments and Transport Statements for planning, TRICS trip generation, Junctions 10 / LinSig modelling
- Good report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Right to work in the UK
