About this role
Focus Recruitment places Data Cabling Engineer with established contractors operating in Cwmbran and across Torfaen – Torfaen. Work is available on a regular basis, and our consultants know the sites, the rates and the site managers in this area.
What you will be doing
- Second fix accessories, fittings and distribution boards
- Terminate and glanding of cables to specification
- Support testing, commissioning and snagging
- Work as part of a site team to agreed programme
- Complete relevant paperwork and test records
- Follow permit to work and isolation procedures
What you need
- Recent site or maintenance experience in a similar role
- ECS, Fibre splicing
- Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Professional approach with clients and site teams
- Right to work in the UK
