About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor for firms in Lancaster and across Lancashire. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place defendant personal injury solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims
- Assess liability, quantum and prospects of success
- Obtain medical evidence and expert reports
- Negotiate settlements with insurers and other side
- Work within portal and fixed costs regimes where applicable
- Meet file management and billing targets
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- SRA admitted
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
