About this role
Our North Lanarkshire clients have a standing need for a Divorce Solicitor, and we are registering candidates who can work in or near Motherwell. Hybrid arrangements are available with a number of firms.
What you will be doing
- Manage a caseload of family matters including divorce and finance
- Advise clients sensitively and clearly on their options
- Prepare court documentation and attend hearings where required
- Draft applications, statements and correspondence
- Work within Legal Aid requirements where applicable
- Meet billing and file management standards
What you need
- Recent experience in a UK law firm
- SRA admitted
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Right to work in the UK
