About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Family Law Paralegal for firms in Sunderland and across North East. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place family law paralegals throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Handle private family work including financial remedy
- Conduct client meetings and take detailed instructions
- Prepare and manage court bundles
- Liaise with counsel, experts and other side
- Maintain accurate attendance notes and file records
- Support the firm’s family department targets
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- Law degree
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
