About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting Fire Alarm Engineer for work across Pontypridd and the surrounding Rhondda Cynon Taf – Rhondda Cynon Taf area. We work with contractors, facilities providers and housing groups who hire continuously in this region, so we place fire alarm engineer year-round rather than on one-off adverts.
What you will be doing
- Carry out installation work to BS7671 on commercial and domestic sites
- Run containment, tray, basket and trunking as required
- Terminate SWA, LSF and standard wiring systems
- Complete first fix and second fix to programme
- Fill in test sheets and certification accurately
- Work to RAMS and site safety requirements
What you need
- Recent site or maintenance experience in a similar role
- FIA units, BS5839, ECS
- Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Professional approach with clients and site teams
- Right to work in the UK
