About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting Flood Risk Assessment Consultant for work across Coleraine and the wider Causeway Coast and Glens area. Our clients are planning, engineering and environmental consultancies, developers and housebuilders who need assessments delivered for planning applications, so demand for flood risk assessment consultant runs year-round.
What you will be doing
- Produce drainage layouts, calculations and maintenance plans
- Deliver Section 104 and Section 106 sewer submissions
- Assess fluvial, pluvial and groundwater flood risk
- Coordinate with civil, highways and landscape colleagues
- Check work against national standards and local guidance
- Manage small projects and client communication
What you need
- Flood risk or drainage consultancy experience
- Flood Risk Assessments to the NPPF, Hydraulic modelling (Flood Modeller, TUFLOW or HEC-RAS), Environment Agency and LLFA consultation
- Working knowledge of the NPPF and local SuDS guidance
- Organised and deadline-focused
- Right to work in the UK
