About this role
We are looking for Transport Planner to join our clients in Grimsby. From graduate and consultant level up to principal and associate, Focus Recruitment works with consultancies across North East Lincolnshire that are growing their assessment teams.
What you will be doing
- Design highway layouts, junction improvements and site accesses
- Assess the traffic impact of new development on the local network
- Produce reports and drawings to programme and budget
- Work with planners, drainage engineers and architects on the design team
- Check designs against DMRB, Manual for Streets and local standards
- Mentor junior staff and review their technical work
What you need
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Degree in transport planning, civil engineering or geography, Transport Assessment and Travel Plan experience, TRICS and junction modelling (ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig)
- Good report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Right to work in the UK
