About this role
We have ongoing requirements for Air Quality Consultant covering Clacton-on-Sea. Development pipelines in Essex need technical assessments at every stage, from pre-application through to discharge of conditions, and our clients hire air quality consultant on permanent, contract and freelance terms.
What you will be doing
- Carry out noise surveys and Noise Impact Assessments
- Assess plant, commercial and transport noise against BS 4142, BS 8233 and ProPG
- Model noise using CadnaA or SoundPLAN
- Design mitigation and advise on building acoustics
- Respond to environmental health officer comments
- Prepare clear technical reports for planning
What you need
- Relevant degree in acoustics, environmental science or engineering
- Air Quality Assessments to IAQM guidance, ADMS or AERMOD dispersion modelling, Construction dust and odour assessments
- Experience with monitoring equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
