About this role
Our sales desk is recruiting a Business Development Manager for an established employer in Reading. Previous sales experience helps, but for many of these roles a confident phone manner and the drive to hit targets matter more than your CV.
What you will be doing
- Generate leads through prospecting and referrals
- Attend client meetings in person and online
- Build long-term relationships with new customers
- Work with internal teams to deliver what was sold
- Forecast sales accurately
- Represent the business at events and exhibitions
What you need
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience, or a confident phone manner
- New business sales, Pipeline management, CRM experience
- Target-driven and resilient
- Clear, persuasive communicator
