We have ongoing requirements for Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant covering Darlington. Development pipelines in Darlington need technical assessments at every stage, from pre-application through to discharge of conditions, and our clients hire environmental impact assessment consultant on permanent, contract and freelance terms.

What you will be doing

• Prepare planning applications, Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements
• Coordinate specialist assessments from the consultant team
• Lead pre-application discussions with local planning authorities
• Manage planning appeals and conditions discharge
• Monitor local plans and policy changes
• Present at public consultation events

What you need

• Relevant degree in planning or environmental management
• EIA screening, scoping and Environmental Statements, Coordinating technical specialists, IEMA membership
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience of planning applications and appeals
• Right to work in the UK
