About this role
Focus Recruitment is recruiting a Newly Qualified Solicitor for firms in Southend-on-Sea and across Southend-on-Sea. We work with regional practices and high street firms who recruit on a rolling basis, so we place newly qualified solicitors throughout the year.
What you will be doing
- Take responsibility for a caseload with minimal supervision
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to departmental targets and business development
- Supervise or support junior colleagues
- Maintain technical knowledge and CPD
- Uphold the firm’s compliance and risk procedures
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- SRA admitted, 0-1 years PQE
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
