About this role

We are recruiting an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner for clients in Southend-on-Sea. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across Southend-on-Sea for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.

What you will be doing

  • Support fee earners across a busy conveyancing team
  • Open files, order searches and chase enquiries
  • Prepare completion statements and post-completion tasks
  • Submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
  • Keep clients and agents updated on progress
  • Maintain accurate file records

What you need

  • Background in a comparable legal role
  • CLC or CILEX or Solicitor, CQS familiarity
  • Comfortable using case management systems
  • Discreet and professional with confidential matters
  • Right to work in the UK
