About this role
We are recruiting an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner for clients in Newcastle upon Tyne. Focus Recruitment has supplied legal staff across North East for years, and many of our placements come through firms returning to us.
What you will be doing
- Support fee earners across a busy conveyancing team
- Open files, order searches and chase enquiries
- Prepare completion statements and post-completion tasks
- Submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
- Keep clients and agents updated on progress
- Maintain accurate file records
What you need
- Relevant experience in a similar role within a UK practice
- CLC or CILEX or Solicitor, CQS familiarity
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Well organised with good file management discipline
- Right to work in the UK
